A ranked shortlist of 15 Web3 and crypto marketing agencies, with published prices, public proof and a four-check filter for picking the one that fits your launch.
Last updated October 21, 2026. This ranking is reviewed every 90 days.
Blockchain App Factory ranks first among the 15 Web3 marketing agencies compared here, on published pricing, named case results, a written compliance review and one team running every channel. The right pick for your team still depends on one thing: the bottleneck you need fixed first.
The buyer pool is bigger and harder to reach at the same time. Crypto.com’s 2025 Market Sizing Report counted 741 million crypto owners worldwide, up 12.4% in a year. A Pew Research Center analysis found Google users clicked a regular result on 8% of visits when an AI summary appeared, against 15% when none did. An agency now has to win both the AI answer and the regulator’s reading of your ads.
- Blockchain App Factory is the strongest all-round pick for funded teams that want strategy, creators, PR and community run by one accountable team.
- Coinbound and Cryptic lead when creator and KOL distribution is the main lever.
- MarketAcross and YAP Global are the first calls when tier-one earned media matters more than raw reach.
- NinjaPromo and Coinband are the most accessible starting points for smaller monthly budgets.
- The biggest risk in any proposal is a guarantee about token price or an exchange listing.
- The first step is to write your bottleneck in one sentence before you book a single agency call.
This guide is for founders and the marketing leads choosing an outside agency. It is not legal or financial advice.
- The right agency matches your bottleneck, so name it before you compare logos or fees.
- Published prices on this list start near $4,000 a month for a subscription team and reach $30,000 per campaign for a funded launch, before media and creator fees.
- Ask every finalist for dated proof, a named account lead, a per-market compliance review and a weekly report built on wallets.

What does a Web3 marketing agency do?
A Web3 marketing agency plans and runs the channels a token project or crypto app uses to win attention and turn it into on-chain users.
The service names sound alike from one agency to the next. What separates them is what each service delivers and how the agency proves it. Use the table below to read any proposal line by line.
| Service | What it covers | When it matters | What it should deliver | Red flag in a proposal |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Go-to-market strategy | Audience, narrative, channel mix, launch sequence, budget split | Before any large spend | A dated plan with owners and metrics per channel | A slide deck with no calendar or metrics |
| KOL and creator campaigns | Creator selection, briefs, posting schedule, tracking | Launch windows, narrative pushes | Post-level analytics and wallet or signup attribution | Creators sold on follower count alone |
| Crypto PR | Earned coverage, sponsored placements, founder interviews | Raises, listings, upgrades | Named outlets with live links and dates | Guaranteed placements with no outlet names |
| Community management | Telegram and Discord setup, moderation, AMAs, quests | Before acquisition traffic arrives | Active-member and 30-day retention counts | Member totals with no activity data |
| Token launch marketing | Pre-TGE demand, whitelist, launch week, listing support | 60 to 90 days before the TGE | Whitelist quality, sale participation, post-listing holders | No plan for the weeks after TGE |
| SEO and AI search | Search content, entity markup, pages AI engines cite | Always, compounding over quarters | Rankings, branded search growth, AI answer mentions | Article volume with no keyword or citation plan |
| Paid acquisition | Google, X, Meta, TikTok and crypto ad networks | Scaling a funnel that already converts | Cost per wallet or deposit by channel | Spend plans before any certification check |
| Analytics and reporting | Attribution from post to wallet, weekly dashboards | Every engagement | The same metric definitions every week | Reports that list posts and impressions only |
How to read this table: the descriptions and red flags are Blockchain App Factory’s assessment from scoping agency proposals. Checked October 21, 2026.

How should you choose a Web3 marketing agency?
Choose by bottleneck first and proof second. Price comes last, and the reporting terms go into the contract.
Most bad agency hires happen at selection, long before execution. Teams compare size and logo walls, then find out the agency is strongest in a channel they never needed.
Blockchain App Factory’s Agency Fit Filter is four checks, run in order:
- Name the bottleneck. Write one sentence on what is stuck today: awareness, launch demand, wallet activity, retention or entry into a new region.
- Match the agency type. Map that bottleneck to a full-stack partner, a KOL specialist, a PR house or a regional team.
- Verify the proof. Check dated case results, a public price signal, a written compliance process and the named people who will run your account.
- Lock the scoreboard. Put metrics, review dates, stop criteria and exit terms in the contract before any spend goes live.
The rest of this guide follows those checks. The ranking, the specialty shortlists, the project-type table and the regional notes cover checks one and two. The cost, rules, metrics and proof sections cover check three, and the 90-day timeline covers check four.

Which agency fits your bottleneck?

This is check two of the Agency Fit Filter. A strong PR house will still disappoint a team whose real problem is wallet activity, so start from the shortlist that matches your bottleneck.

- Shortlist Blockchain App Factory, TurnkeyTown, TokenMinds and Coinband.
- Ask for a dated launch calendar from a past client, week by week from day minus 90 to day plus 30.
- Our pre-TGE marketing playbook lays out what should ship in each of those weeks.

- Shortlist GuerrillaBuzz, Blockchain App Factory, INORU and Coinbound.
- Ask for pages the agency has gotten cited in ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews, with the prompts used.

Best Web3 agencies for regulated categories
RWA platforms, stablecoins and exchanges need agencies that treat wording as a compliance question.

- Ask how claims get reviewed before publication, and who signs off for each target market.
If you need flexible capacity on a small budget, compare NinjaPromo with Coinband. If MENA is the target market, start with Cryptic.
Which agency fits your project type?
Each project type is judged on a different number, so the right agency is the one that already reports that number.
A DeFi protocol and a Web3 game can hire the same agency and still need opposite plans. The table maps each type to the metric buyers check and the agencies on this list that fit it.
| Project type | What matters most | Metric to ask for | Shortlist from this guide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Token launch (ICO, IDO, TGE) | Launch timing, creator trust, post-listing support | Sale participation and day-30 holders | Blockchain App Factory, TurnkeyTown, TokenMinds, Coinband |
| DeFi protocol | Trust, education, liquidity narrative | TVL from new wallets | Blockchain App Factory, Lunar Strategy, YAP Global |
| RWA or tokenized assets | Compliance-aware wording, institutional press | Qualified investor leads | Wachsman, MarketAcross, Blockchain App Factory |
| Exchange or wallet | Licensed ad channels, regional reach, onboarding | Cost per funded account | Blockchain App Factory, ICODA, Cryptic |
| L1, L2 or infrastructure | Developer reach, ecosystem press | Developer and dApp sign-ups | Lunar Strategy, MarketAcross, Serotonin |
| Web3 game | Creators, Discord, player retention | Day-7 and day-30 player retention | Coinbound, Coinband, Blockchain App Factory |
| AI agent or AI crypto project | Narrative speed, founder content, AI search | AI answer mentions and docs traffic | Blockchain App Factory, GuerrillaBuzz, Serotonin |
| Operating business raising via token | Investor-grade materials, launch mechanics | Capital raised against fee | TokenMinds, Blockchain App Factory |

Which agencies cover your target region?
Pick an agency with people and licensed ad channels in your target market, since ad rules and creator networks change at every border.
Regional rules decide which channels an agency can even use. The notes below cover the markets founders ask about most.
MENA and the Gulf
- Google allows UAE-targeted exchange and wallet ads only from advertisers licensed by FSRA, VARA or DFSA, with Google certification.
- Cryptic has offices in Dubai and Riyadh, and YAP Global runs a Dubai hub.
- Our guide to crypto marketing in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar covers KOLs and regulation market by market.
South Korea and Japan
- TikTok’s financial services ad policy lets Korean exchange platforms advertise only with local authority approval, and Japanese crypto ads need FSA authorization and audiences aged 20 or older.
- Expect creator networks and community channels to change with the market, so ask for native-language staff on the account.
EU and UK
- MiCA and the FCA rules covered in the rules section below apply to every asset, and X does not allow paid crypto partnerships in the EU or the UK.
- Google allows UK exchange and wallet ads only from advertisers registered with the FCA.
United States
- TikTok allows US crypto and exchange ads subject to licensing, disclosures and 18+ targeting, and prohibits ICO and token sale ads.
- Coinbound in New York and Wachsman’s US offices are the most US-centered agencies on this list.
Regional rules checked October 21, 2026. Confirm current requirements with counsel in each market.
How much does a Web3 marketing agency cost?
Published prices on this list start near $4,000 a month for a subscription team and reach $30,000 or more per campaign for a funded launch, with media spend and creator fees billed on top.
Most agencies still quote privately. The ones that publish give you a floor to test every other proposal against.
- Blockchain App Factory publishes campaign packages at $7,500, $15,000 and $30,000, with a custom tier for exchanges and L1 or L2 networks.
- INORU publishes monthly tiers at $7,500, $15,000 and $20,000.
- NinjaPromo bills hours: $100 an hour on its 40-hour plan and $80 an hour on its 160-hour plan.
- Lunar Strategy, GuerrillaBuzz and Coinband signal minimums through budget options on their inquiry forms, from under $5,000 to $15,000.
- TokenMinds lists its own fees inside its case studies, ranging from $11,800 to $400,000.
Four factors move most quotes: the number of target markets, the tier of creators, the tier of PR outlets and how compressed your timeline is. If press is your largest line item, compare crypto press release distribution options before you accept a package price.
For single services, market ranges are wider than any one agency’s price list. The figures below come from Blockchain App Factory’s Crypto Marketing Budget Benchmarks 2026, compiled from 34 third-party sources and graded A for directly verifiable prices or B for figures consistent across independent sources.

How to read this table: ranges and grades come from the benchmark report, last verified August 25, 2026, which Blockchain App Factory compiles and which links each figure to its source. Ranges exclude media spend unless stated.
Agency prices checked October 21, 2026. They exclude media spend, creator fees and taxes.
Which rules change what an agency can run for you?
Promotion rules in the EU, the UK and on Google decide which assets an agency can ship, so a credible agency reviews every asset against them before spend goes live.
An agency that never raises these rules in a pitch is a risk to your project, because penalties usually land on the issuer.
- In the EU, MiCA Article 7 requires marketing communications to be clearly identifiable, fair, clear, not misleading and consistent with the white paper, and none may go out before a required white paper is published.
- In the UK, the FCA’s cryptoasset promotion rules require a 24-hour cooling-off period for new consumers who request a direct offer, plus an appropriateness assessment.
- On Google, the Cryptocurrencies and related products policy bans ads for initial coin offerings and DeFi trading protocols, and exchanges and wallets need certification for each targeted country.
- Ask how the agency records who approved each asset. Our crypto marketing compliance guide to ad rules and disclosure covers what to keep on file.
Ad platforms add their own layer. An agency that plans paid spend before checking certification will lose weeks to rejected ads.
| Platform | Allowed with certification or licence | Banned or unavailable | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Ads | Exchanges and wallets in listed countries, with local licensing | ICO ads, DeFi trading protocol ads, issuer comparison sites | Google Ads policy |
| X Ads | Exchanges, wallets, staking, DEXs and DeFi apps, certified per category and country | ICO, IEO and IDO ads, mining; crypto unavailable in Belgium, Greece, Qatar, Russia, Singapore, Slovenia and Ukraine | X financial services policy |
| X paid partnerships | Sponsored creator posts with the Paid Partnership label since March 2026 | Paid crypto promotions in the EU, UK and Australia | Invezz report |
| Meta | Advertisers holding an accepted regulatory licence; the list grew from 3 to 27 licences in December 2021 | Advertisers without an accepted licence | Social Media Today |
| TikTok | Exchanges and some wallets in listed markets, with licence and 18+ targeting | ICO and token sale ads in markets including the US, Canada, Australia and Brazil | TikTok ads policy |
How to read this table: rules come from each platform’s own policy page, except the X paid partnership change, which comes from press coverage, and the Meta licence count, which comes from 2021 coverage of Meta’s announcement. Check Meta’s current licence list before planning spend. Checked October 21, 2026.
Rules checked October 21, 2026. Confirm current requirements with counsel in each target market.
Which metrics should an agency report at each stage?
An agency should report the one or two numbers that decide your current stage, measured the same way every week.
Impressions show that a post went out. The metrics below show whether it moved anyone, and the benchmarks give you a floor to hold the agency to.
| Stage | What to measure | Benchmark to compare against |
|---|---|---|
| Pre-launch | Qualified whitelist sign-ups, active community members, cost per wallet | Realistic user acquisition targets run $5 to $15 per wallet at 2% to 4% conversion (B) |
| Launch window | Wallet connects by source, sale participation, creator post analytics | DeFi funnels convert 0.5% to 2.5% from click to first transaction (A) |
| Exchange or wallet growth | Sign-up to KYC to first deposit, cost per funded account | Exchange funnels convert 0.3% to 0.8% from click to deposit (A) |
| Post-listing and airdrop | Day-30 and day-90 holder retention, repeat activity | Median day-90 airdrop retention is 6%; the top quartile reaches 41%, across 21 protocols (A) |
| Always on | Branded search, organic rankings, AI answer mentions | Crypto SEO takes about six months to compound (B) |
How to read this table: the stages and measures are Blockchain App Factory’s framework, and the benchmarks come from the Crypto Marketing Budget Benchmarks 2026 report with its evidence grades. The same report found 25% of teams did not track marketing or acquisition costs in 2025. Checked October 21, 2026.
Our guide to crypto marketing metrics that matter beyond followers and volume explains how to define each one before kickoff.
How do you check an agency’s proof before you sign?
Ask for dated results you can verify yourself, and treat any guarantee as a reason to walk away.
This is check three of the Agency Fit Filter. The table below sorts the signals we see most often in proposals.
| Proposal signal | What it usually means | Read as |
|---|---|---|
| Guaranteed token price or exchange listing | A promise no agency controls | Risk |
| KOLs sold by follower count alone | No audience or fraud screening | Risk |
| Community member counts with no activity data | Growth that may be farmed or bought | Risk |
| Dated launch calendar from past client work | The agency has run this sequence before | Trust |
| Named account lead written into the contract | Senior people stay on delivery | Trust |
| Weekly report on wallet growth and cost per wallet | Spend is tied to outcomes | Trust |
| Written compliance review for each target market | Assets will survive regulator and platform checks | Trust |
How to read this table: the signals and ratings are Blockchain App Factory’s assessment from reviewing agency proposals. They are not drawn from a third-party study. Checked October 21, 2026.

Use this checklist on every finalist:
- The agency restates your bottleneck correctly in its first proposal.
- It shows at least two case results from your category, with dates and live links.
- It names the senior person who runs your account and agrees to put that name in the contract.
- It explains how it screens creators for bought followers and audience overlap.
- It shows a written compliance review step for each target market.
- It defines success in wallets or qualified signups.
- It separates its fee from media spend and creator fees in the quote.
- It shares a sample weekly report from a past engagement, with client details removed.
- It tells you at least one thing it would cut from your plan.
- It states exit terms and a review date inside the first 90 days.
Red flags that should end the conversation:
- The proposal promises a token price, a listing or a fixed number of followers.
- The case study page shows logos with no dated results.
- No one can say who writes the content and who approves it.
- The quote bundles media spend into the fee with no breakdown.
- The pitch never mentions promotion rules or ad platform policy.
If AI visibility is part of the brief, ask to see answers where the agency’s clients are cited. Our test of which sources ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini cite for crypto questions shows the kinds of pages those engines pick up.
“Ask every finalist what it would remove from your plan. A partner trims scope to what works. A vendor adds hours.”
What changed in Web3 marketing in 2026?
Paid posting farms lost their platform, creator sponsorship reopened under labels, Telegram became a distribution channel of its own and AI answers began shaping shortlists.
Each shift changes what you should ask an agency in a pitch. An agency still selling 2024 tactics will quote some that X no longer allows.
InfoFi lost access to X
On January 15, 2026, X revoked API access from apps that pay users to post, The Block reported. Kaito shut down Yaps and its incentivized leaderboards and launched Kaito Studio, a tiered marketing platform. Ask any agency still pitching “yap” campaigns what replaced them.
Sponsored crypto posts on X returned with a label
Invezz reported that in March 2026, X again allowed paid crypto promotions from creators who use its Paid Partnership label. The change does not cover the EU, the UK or Australia, so creator plans need a per-market split.
Telegram Mini Apps reached 100 million monthly users
The TON Foundation put Telegram Mini Apps past 100 million monthly active users in September 2026, Bitcoinist reported. The count includes off-chain bot sessions, so read it as reach, not as wallets. Our crypto Telegram marketing playbook covers attribution at wallet level.
AI answers now shape the shortlist
In the Pew Research Center data cited earlier, Google users very rarely clicked the links inside an AI summary. Agencies now need to show they can get clients named inside the answer itself.
What should the first 90 days with a new agency look like?
The first 90 days should move from audit to a measured test to a scale-or-stop decision, with the scoreboard fixed in week one.
This is check four of the Agency Fit Filter. Write these phases into the statement of work, with the decision at the end of each one.
|
Days 1 to 14 Audit and scoreboard Ships: positioning brief, channel plan, metric definitions and a compliance map for each target market. Decision: approve the brief, or stop before any spend. |
|
Days 15 to 45 First activation Ships: first creator wave, first PR push, community setup and tracked links for every channel. Decision: pick the two channels that earn more budget. |
|
Days 46 to 75 Scale what converts Ships: a second wave on the winning channels, paid tests where platform rules allow them and weekly reports. Decision: keep the current scope, or cut the channels that miss their targets. |
|
Days 76 to 90 Review Ships: a 30-day retention read on the first wallet cohort, cost per qualified wallet and a next-quarter plan. Decision: renew, resize, pause or exit on the terms already in the contract. |

Where should you start with your shortlist?
Write your bottleneck in one sentence, pick three agencies from the matching shortlist above and send each the same brief this week.
If launch demand and community work need to run together, Blockchain App Factory’s crypto marketing agency team plans them on one calendar. Positioning and PR start 60 to 90 days before the sale. Every asset is checked against each target market’s promotion rules before spend, and reporting tracks wallet connects and 30-day retention. Packages are published from $7,500 per campaign, so you can compare scope before the first call.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best Web3 marketing agency in 2026?
Blockchain App Factory ranks first in this guide for funded teams that want strategy, creators, PR and community under one team. Coinbound and Cryptic lead for creator distribution, and MarketAcross leads for earned media. The best choice for you depends on the bottleneck you need fixed first.
What does a Web3 marketing agency do?
A Web3 marketing agency plans and runs the channels a crypto project uses to win attention and turn it into on-chain users. Typical services include go-to-market strategy, KOL campaigns, crypto PR, community management, token launch marketing, SEO and paid acquisition.
How much does a Web3 marketing agency cost per month?
Published prices in this guide start near $4,000 a month for a subscription team and $7,500 for a crypto-specific package. Market benchmarks put most pre-launch and growth retainers at $10,000 to $25,000 a month. Media spend and creator fees are billed on top.
What is Blockchain App Factory’s Agency Fit Filter?
It is a four-check method for choosing an agency: name the bottleneck, match the agency type, verify the proof and lock the scoreboard. Running the checks in order removes most mismatched agencies before the first call.
What is the difference between a Web3 marketing agency and a crypto PR agency?
A crypto PR agency focuses on media coverage and founder visibility. A Web3 marketing agency covers PR plus creators, community, search, paid media and launch planning.
How early should a token project hire a marketing agency?
Hire at least 60 to 90 days before a TGE, and earlier if you need community and search visibility in place first. Projects that start in launch week usually pay more for less attention.
How long does Web3 marketing take to show results?
KOL and PR campaigns can show reach within weeks of launch. Crypto SEO usually takes around six months to compound, and community retention needs at least one full 30-day cohort to judge.
Can a marketing agency guarantee an exchange listing or token price?
No honest agency can guarantee either, because listing committees and markets decide them. Treat any such guarantee as a red flag and end the conversation.
Can crypto projects run ads on Google, X and Meta?
Yes, but only in certain categories and markets. Google and X allow certified exchange and wallet ads in listed countries and ban ICO ads, while Meta requires an accepted regulatory licence.
Which rules affect crypto marketing campaigns in 2026?
In the EU, MiCA requires crypto marketing to be identifiable, fair, clear and consistent with the white paper. In the UK, the FCA requires a cooling-off period for first-time investors, and Google Ads bans ICO and DeFi trading protocol ads.
What metrics should a Web3 marketing agency report?
It should report wallet connects by source, cost per qualified wallet and holder retention at 30 and 90 days, plus branded search and AI answer mentions. Impressions and follower counts alone do not show whether spend moved anyone.
What happened to InfoFi and Kaito Yaps?
X revoked API access from apps that pay users to post on January 15, 2026. Kaito shut down Yaps and launched Kaito Studio, a tiered marketing platform.
Is Web3 still relevant in 2026?
Yes. Crypto.com counted 741 million crypto owners worldwide in 2025, up 12.4% in a year, and buyers now research projects across X, Telegram, search and AI answers.
Should I hire one full-stack agency or several specialists?
One full-stack agency works better when channels must run on one calendar and one report. Several specialists work when you have an in-house growth lead who owns strategy and coordination.
